Because of their industrious characteristics we, as humans, have attempted to emulate these characteristics in creating good works for mankind. We have accepted the Dam Beaver as an example of our drive to succeed by the saying:

 The Dam Beavers have settled in for the winter.

The ponds and wetlands are covered with ice and snow.

The Mother Dam Beaver is pregnant and will give birth to 1 or 2 kits in early spring.
